Strawberry Festival
The Humber Valley Strawberry Festival takes place each summer in the
beautiful
Humber
Valley.
Events take place in a number of communities throughout the valley.
Deer
Lake

Pasadena
host the main events with the smaller communities holding their own
special events during the days of the festival.

Sir Richard Squires Memorial Park
Located on Route 422
Sir
Richard
Squires
Memorial Park
is a favourite among visitors and local residents alike. The park is
situated right next to the
Humber
River,
one of the best salmon angling rivers on the island. Visit for the day
to watch the salmon jump
Big
Falls,
or spend the night in one of the 159 camp sites in the park.

Memorial Park
is now the home of the Big Falls Tourist Lodge. The park is open May 21
- Sep 8. Boat rentals are also available during the fishing season.
