FD NEWS

In the past few months we have had to say goodbye to five of our best.  Melvin Rideout decided to throw in the towel due to other comitmints in his life, but we hope to see him back as soon as he can.  Shannon Spracklin has relocated to Deer Lake and  Shane Keeping to Alberta.  We are now learning that Alphonse Keefe is moving to Labrador and Kim Duncan is heading west.  These members all took pride in our department and they will be hard to replace.  Thanks for everything guys!!!

Thank You to Original Members

November 2010 marked a significant date for two membersof our fire department. In November of 1975, six months after the formation of Cormack Fire Dept, Anthony Alexander and Ken Alexander started what was to become a lifelong commitment to the fire service in our community. Over the years they have seen a lot of changes in the department, both in equipment and in personnel, but the primary focus has remained the same- being there for the community. On behalf of the entire department, thank you to both Anthony and Ken for 35 years of loyal service.
