The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 7:45 pm
1. Election of Western Regional Director for Assessment Agency
Resolution 008-001 Alexander/Pelley
Resolved that the Town give its support for Western Regional Director on the
Assessment Agency to Dean Ball of Deer Lake. 5 for, carried.
2. Adjustments to Accounts
Resolution 008-002 Alexander/Rideout
Resolved that the following accounts be adjusted accordingly:
DAN'S001(Contracting) ...no longer in business as of June 22, 2007.
SUTTO001(Sawmill) ... no longer in business as of June 10, 2006.

3. Reproduction and Distribution of Copies of Town Regulations
Resolution 008-003 Pelley/Chaffey
Resolved that the Town give its permission to the Engineering and Land Use
Planning Division of the Department of Municipal Affairs to reproduce and
distribute copies of the Cormack Plan and Development Regulations. 5 for,
carried.
4. Accounts Payable
Resolution 008-004 Rideout/Pelley
Resolved that accounts presented for payment (ARDAHC and Town) shall be paid as
funds allow. 5 for, carried.
5. ARDAHC
Resolution 008- 005 Alexander/Rideout
The countertops in bathrooms shall be moulded marble.

It was decided that quotes should be obtained on the supply and installation of
kitchen cabinets. Decisions on the remainder of center's cabinetry; bench in
foyer, shelving, bar, etc will be made later. Specs will have to be prepared for
the work.
6. Deer Lake Figure Skating Club - Hosting Regional Championships
Resolution 008-006 Rideout/Alexander
The Town will contribute $25.00 to Skate Canada/Deer Lake Figure Skating Club
toward the hosting of the 2008 Western Regional Skating Championships. 5 for,
carried.
7. Other Business
If necessary a dragon heater of 5000 watts will be purchased for the fire
department. One will be sufficient to heat both bays if hung from center of
ceiling.
The Town of Howley has asked the town to provide support to their petition to
the province to construct a road connecting their town with Buchans. Further
information is required regarding the benefits of the proposal.
