Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Cormack held on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 in the council office, Cormack.

The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 10:30 pm.

The purpose of the meeting was to resolve the 2006 Municipal Budget, Tax Schedule and related provisions.

Following consideration of the projected expenditures and revenues for 2006 operations of the town, the following were duly resolved.

Resolution 006-003 Alexander/Pinksen

The 2006 Municipal Budget is adopted by the Town Council of Cormack balanced at $347,392

The 2006 Municipal Tax Schedule and Payment Provisions are duly resolved as follows:

The due date for all taxes levied by the Town of Cormack is March 31, 2006 after which date the unpaid balances are in arrears and subject to interest charges of 9.75 % annual rate to be applied monthly. The town will provide a discount of 5% on 2006 Property Tax, Business Tax (excluding the Utility Tax) and Poll Tax up to and including March 15, 2006. A payment plan can be arranged with the town with the following stipulations:
‒ the plan must be in place with the town by March 31, 2006
‒ payments must be no less than the minimum of equal payments made over the period of the plan
‒ payments must be received in each of the months, failure to receive payment will result in cancellation of the payment plan
‒ upon final payment, and all terms and conditions being met, the interest charges accumulated against the current years tax account will be written off (from the start of payment plan).
